'Angie Brown Vocals' is a stunning collection of loops and samples from the one and only Angie Brown, who is one of the most respected vocalists on the House music scene. Having started out as a backing singer with The Happy Mondays, she went on to record various House anthems with the likes of Bizarre Inc, Mark Knight, Paul Woolford, Fabio and Milk & Sugar.

Samplephonics spent a lot of time trying different signal chains during recording to find one that suited Angie's voice the best. Eventually they settled on an AKG C12 microphone and an Avalon VT-737SP vacuum tube preamp, which really gave a beautiful silky texture and warmth to her voice, and a little grit when driven hard.
